SLT Kickoff Meeting

We had a strong interest in Student Leadership Team for the 2015-16 school year with just over 100 students in fourth and fifth grade participating. Our kickoff meeting this week focused on group brainstorming and activities around what it means to be a good leader. Thanks to all the teachers who volunteered to be a part of this program and help our students uncover their leadership potential!

Celebrating Veteran's Day

This year at our Veteran's Day assembly we were honored to have Mr. Paul Cardullo return on Friday, November 6th. He came to give us an update about his organization IPods for Veterans. He spoke about the branches of military service and what it means to be a veteran. Mr.Cardullo shared how much the veterans enjoyed the letters Doyon students wrote last year. We had fourth grade student, Cecilia Clark join Mr. Cardullo on stage to share their recent trip to the State House with students. Cecilia, Mr.Cardullo, and Doyon School were recognized for the money they raised for veterans.
